Toners pub on Baggot Street is one of the first options on people’s minds when the sun comes out and you’re looking for a post-work pint in the outdoors.
The spacious outdoor area is cleverly laid out to suit all seasons, with plenty of seating, sheltered booths, and outdoor heaters providing comfort whether it’s a bright summer day or a chilly evening. Its design includes a balance of sunny open areas and shaded corners, making it easy to find your ideal spot no matter the weather.
Visitors to Toners can also enjoy a well-poured pint of Guinness—often hailed as one of the best in Dublin—while chilling in the relaxed atmosphere.
The pub allows you to bring in pizzas from neighbouring Cirillo’s, voted Europe’s best pizzeria, which is a great plus on a sunny day in the city.
While this place is really big, if the sun starts hitting over 20c, you’re going to need to get yourself here relatively early or make a booking because it will fill up very quickly and you could be left standing, which still is a fine option.
The Baggot Street institution is almost as popular mid week as it can be at weekends with working people favouring it for a post-office debrief, especially when the sun is starting to shine.
