Looking for pizza and a pint around Dublin? Luckily the city is brimming with pubs serving up gorgeous pizzas alongside as many drinks as you can manage.

It’s become an increasingly more popular duo in recent years and with increased demand, thankfully Dublin publicans have answered with increased supply.

Whether it’s a simple, no frills pizza you are looking for or a Italian style woodfired dish, we’ve compiled the best pizza spots we know about in the city centre and further out for all preferences.

Think another pub should make the cut? Make sure to leave a comment.

The Back Page – Phibsboro

The Back Page has been serving up pizzas to the people of Phibsboro for years now and is well-known as one of the best spots in the city for pub food and a nice pint in a good atmosphere.

The handmade pizzas are priced around €13 to €15 and named after famous sports people like Katie Taylor or the more niche ones like Roman Riquelme.

Rather than being quickly thrown together, these pizzas would not be out of place in any restaurant, and are well worth trying.

Bonobo – Smithfield

Staying on that side of the city, Smithfield is home to Bonobo, a small corner pub that has become a huge hit with Dublin drinkers and pizza lovers in recent years.

Located on Church Street to be exact, the pub offers a chilled vibe for a catch-up with a group of friends, a quiet after-work drink or even a date.

The pizza is handmade in their woodfire oven and ranges from a standard pepperoni pizza to some more adventurous specials. Be warned though you may need to make a booking on busier evenings to avoid disappointment.

Jackie’s – Dublin 8

Located on Francis Street in Dublin 8, Jackie’s is maybe best known for their cocktails and the nostalgia effect a 90s themed bar brings.

But they’ve recently teamed up with Dublin Pizza Company and are offering quality pizzas on top of the other great features The Liberties boozer already has.

It’s also relatively cheap, with pizzas starting at €11. So make sure to give it a try next time you’re in the area.

Blackbird – Rathmines

While the pubs above are going for a more high-quality pizza, Blackbird does it very simply when it comes to pizza with their thin-crust options, but that’s exactly why it’s on this list and so popular.

Located in Rathmines, only a 10 minute walk from Camden Street, the Blackbird is one of the best pubs in Dublin for its retro vibe.

They’ve loads of craft beers on tap that go great with a pizza and it’s the perfect spot to head to to line the stomach before a night out.

The Circular – Rialto

The Circular has teamed up with Coke Lane and is offering some high quality pizzas to the people of Dublin 8 and anyone that comes to visit.

The pub is another retro type vibe and very chill for a few drinks and something to eat. If it isn’t somewhere you’ve tried before it’s definitely worth checking out.

And you can even sit outside on a sunny day with their lovely area out the front.

Rascals HQ – Inchicore

Are we saving the best until last? You could definitely argue it, Rascals HQ is the home of Rascal’s Brewery and a pub/restaurant serving up some incredible pizzas as well as their own award-winning pints.

It really could be the best place in Dublin for pizza and beers so make sure to get yourself out to Inchicore some day to give it a try.

Are we missing any?

These are the pubs we believe are the best, from what we know, but are we missing some top pizza pub haunts in Dublin? Please let us know and we will happily have a look and possibly add them to the list.
