The seaside town of Tramore is one of the best places in the south-east to spend a sunny day and with it being such a popular summer spot, there’s always interest in the best pubs in the area.
After a day at the beach, a day at the races or if you’re just headed out for the evening, you might be looking for the best bars to spend the rest of your night.
Tramore is full of pubs but these are two you should consider next time you’re in the town.
The Vic – Queen’s Street
Victoria House, or The Vic as it’s more commonly known, is now largely known as the best pub in Tramore and is always busy with locals and tourists.
The historic building, which was recently renovated, spans over three floors and overlooks the sea.
The main bar is home to live music, entertainment and sport on the TVs, upstairs you’ll find the function room while out back there’s a spacious beer garden perfect for a summer session.
If you’re looking for a good night-out, look no further than the Vic.
The Ritz – Cove Road
A bit further away from all the other pubs in the Tramore area but The Ritz is worth the short trip out to the Cove Road.
The thatched cottage is home to a cosy pub dating back to the 1800s with a terrific beer garden overlooking the sea and a pop-up food business to go with it.
Serving up a fine pint of Guinness, and with a cosy and picturesque interior, The Ritz is the perfect venue for a hot day in the summer or a miserable one in the winter.
